Here is what is happening this week at your gym:

Thanks to everyone who came out to our Friday Night at the Bar Faith RXD event. We had a great showing and good time! Check out the Facebook post with all the pictures!

  • Beginning January 1, 2019, in an effort to streamline and simplify, Crossfit classes will be the following:
    • Monday – Thursday Morning – 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, 11:30
    • Monday – Thursday Evening – 4:15, 5:15, 6:15, 7:15
    • Friday Morning – 5:30, 6:30, 7:30, 8:30, 11:30
    • Friday Evening – 4:15, 5:15, 6:15
    • Bootcamp will be daily at 9:30 am and remain on Tuesday and Thursday evening at 6:15 pm
    • All other classes remain the same.
  • Effective for each member’s first payment of 2019, all unlimited memberships are reduced to $185. All 3 times a week memberships are converted to unlimited and remain $185. Student pricing is $115 for unlimited use. Military/police/fire/senior discount price is $165 unlimited. Family discounts still apply. If you have any questions feel free to email us or refer to the new pricing that will be on the website mid December. We believe that with a more uniform daily schedule along with the added benefits received from the new pricing structure, we will be able to start off 2019 focused on WPF athletes and your goals for the new year. As we continue to grow and add new members, we will pass down savings when possible so keep the referrals coming!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

THINGS COMING UP:

    • December 15th – 12 Days of Christmas WOD and turkey fry. Workout and then bring a food item to share. WPF will provide the turkeys!
    • December 24th – 8:30 and 9:30 classes only
    • December 25th – CLOSED
    • December 26th – normal class schedule
    • December 31st -8:30 and 9:30 classes only

Lots of updates in this one!

Let’s start off with some good news:

  • Randy is now a CFL2! Please congratulate him when you see him – this is great accomplishment and will add value to Warrior Pride.​​​​​​​

All you need to do is donate a toy the day of the workout. Faith RXD has great t-shirts for purchase. Make sure you pick WPF as your host gym and complete the entire registration process as we have has some people say they are signed up but their names are not on the list. Also, anyone is welcome so spread the word!

Thank you to all those who came out for Friday Night at the Bar!

It was a lot of fun and a good workout! Look for info about the next Friday Night at the Bar event soon.

Here is what is happening this week at your gym:

  • We are taking orders this week for new WPF apparel including hoodies for the Fall. See the attached to place your order by Friday.
  • The Triathawod is back on October 20th! Do it solo or grab a friend and split the work in two! Prizes will be awarded to the top team, top female and top male. Click on this link for more info and to get registered.

  • CrossFit Team Series starts this week. The WODs will be announced Wednesday and we will program one of the two partner wods on Friday for the next 2 weeks. Good luck to all the teams signed up!
  • For the convenience of the coaches scheduled to come in to coach Butt and Gut and Bootcamp classes, if no one is signed up 30 minutes prior to the start of the class, the class will be cancelled. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

We hope everyone had a nice Labor Day weekend!

Here is what is happening this week at your gym:

  • We begin a new lift progression on Friday – Front Squats – so we will start with a max lift. We finished T2B progression and will shift to Double Under work for the next 6 weeks so get your jumprope ready!
  • Remember Barbell on Tuesday and Thursday is Clean progression and on Saturday is Snatch work.

    Both classes have had a great showing and athletes are making good progress. If you can join one of these class times, try it out!
  • Brian H has donated some coffee and we set up a coffee bar for a few weeks in the client lounge. Enjoy a hot or cold brew on Brian!
  • Month long Meter Challenge is up on the chalkboard. Log all your meters all month long – row, bike, run or erg! Start getting ready for the Triathawod in October!

  • Sept 19th CrossFit Team Series Get a partner and get signed up!

School is back in swing for the majority of young students. We have started to say goodbye to our college athletes, too. It has been a great summer with all the young people in the gym and we will miss them. We hope they drop-in for a workout when they are home on break. Good luck!

Here is what’s happening this week at your gym:

  • WPF Barbell is on Tuesday and Thursdays at 10:30. Beginning this week Josh is going to lead the class in a 6 week Clean strengthening series. For those six weeks, athletes will be performing lifts that help develop their clean including the accessory lifts like deadlifts, block cleans, clean pulls, front squats, and more. If you haven’t tried out Barbell, join Josh this week to work on your technique!
  • If you have nutrition questions, please email Josh at josh@warriorpridefitness.com. He would be happy to make an appointment to talk to you.
  • Battle of the Ages is Saturday August 18th. We have 6 teams competing! Heat times come out on Tuesday and will be posted in the gym for those who would like to go cheer on all the WPF teams. Good luck to everyone!!
  • If you have had an issue with your car magnet, we have ordered replacement magnets and they should arrive this week. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  • Lastly, the Social Media Challenge winner is Leigh Whitmire!! Awesome job to everyone that submitted an entry. There were some really creative posts out there. Look for more WPF contests to come in the near future.

Coming up:

  • August 25th. For 5 weeks, on Saturday mornings, Josh will lead a Snatch class for anyone interested in learning more about this Olympic lift. Look for it on Wodify soon!

Thank you to everyone who came out on Friday night for our 4th Friday Night at the Bar! We had over 40 people in the gym and collected a boxful of school supplies for Blackwell Elementary!

Now, here is what is happening around the gym:

  • Our next Friday Night at the Bar will be “Are You Ready for College Football?” Who doesn’t love college football!!?? Anyone who wants to have their college team represented in the gym this fall is welcome to bring in a school pennant and we will hang them up on the wall surrounding the white board.
  • We have hired another trainer! Alexis Hulbert will start August 1 and will be helping with bootcamp and some additional classes as well as shadowing Randy and Pat until she receives her CFL1. We are happy to have her on the WPF team.
  • Lost and found will be “donated” at the end of this week so if you are missing something check the basket in the lounge.
  • Saturday, August 4th at 10:30 anyone doing Battle of the Ages can practice the WODs and get some help with strategy and techniques. Coaches will be present to assist as needed.
  • Thank you to all those who have already submitted reviews! The winner of the free month was Robb Cavalluzzi!

In the near future:

Here is what’s happening this week at your gym:

  • Friday Night at the Bar is this Friday, July 27th at 7:00. It’s Christmas in July and we’ll be doing the 12 Days of Christmas WOD. Please make sure to sign up in Wodify so we have an idea of how many people will be attending. Anyone is welcome to join us so Bring a Friend for the holiday festivities. We are collecting school supplies for Blackwell Elementary so don’t forget your buy-in!
  • We will begin Toes-to-Bar as our new gymnastics progression starting on Wednesday.
  • Don’t forget about our Google Review giveaway! Anyone who submits a Google review for Warrior Pride Fitness will have their name put in a drawing on August 1 for a free month’s membership!

Hi all! Summer’s end is fast approaching. We hope everyone who is traveling is enjoying time with their children before school starts back up in a couple of weeks!

Here is what is happening this week at your gym:

  • There are free car magnets throughout the gym. Please take one and put it on your vehicle so everyone will know that you got that badass strong body from Warrior Pride Fitness.
  • Don’t forget about our Google Review giveaway! Anyone who submits a Google review for Warrior Pride Fitness will have their name put in a drawing for a free month’s membership!
  • We now have Ascent Pre-workout and the Casein protein in GainzVille. The Casein protein is great to make pudding!
  • We’re looking for a new trainer to join the WPF Family! Take a look at the job posting and send to your friends/family!

  • July 27th Friday Night at the Bar Christmas in July. Friends welcome!
  • August 18th Battle of the Ages People are still looking for teams. Check out the Info board and get signed up!

Here is what is happening this week at your gym:

  • July 4th there is one class at 8:30. We will be doing the WOD Team 1776. That’s 1776 reps so get strategizing!
    “1776 Team”  WOD – For Time (in a Team of Three):

    As a team, complete a total of 1776 reps of all movements, in any order.
    Multiple partners may work at a time, but everyone must work together on the same movement and move to the next one together.
    The only requirements are that the team not complete more than 200 reps of any one movement, and each team member must complete at least 10 reps of each movement.
  • July 11 DexaBody is coming back! Make sure you reserve your spot today! Here is the website to check it out and the link to get signed up. The cost is $47 and if you haven’t done this before it is worth every penny.
  • Backsquats are the new lift progression and we will be doing them on Mondays and Fridays. We won’t start a new gymnastics progression until July 11th because of July 4th holiday.

Here is what’s happening this week at your gym:

  • Nutrition Seminar is at 4:30 this afternoon. Josh will discuss proper nutrition, portion control and more. Also, Tupperware will be there with some great meal prep containers! Sign up in Wodify.
  • Josh will be back at Whole Foods for a second grocery store tour this Wednesday night at 7 pm. This is limited to 10 people so please sign up in Wodify.
  • OPEN GYM this week is limited to Monday and Tuesday. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, Roni will be taking her daughter to college and JJ is traveling for work. We know this in an inconvenience to some and we apologize. The following week will have regular open gym hours. Thank you for your patience with this.
  • We are finishing close grip bench press, HSPU progressions and hang squat cleans this week.
    We should see lots of stars! Next up: BACKSQUATS!!
  • “Challenge of the Week” is PRs in pounds until the end of June. Any PRs count so get your name and pounds up on the chalkboard.
    In the near future:

July 4 We will be open for one class in the morning at 8:30. We have a special workout planned for Independence Day!
